Shilpa Ranganathan serves as the Chief Product Officer at Expedia Group, leading the company’s global product and design teams. In this role, she drives innovation and customer-centric solutions across Expedia Group’s ecosystem, shaping product strategy, enhancing the end-to-end traveler experience, and delivering seamless, technology-driven solutions for partners and customers worldwide. Ms. Ranganathan brings more than 25 years of experience in building and scaling digital products. Most recently, she served as Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, where she led the Windows end-user, developer, and marketplace teams. She played a key role in reimagining Windows product experiences with AI and Copilot, driving Microsoft’s consumer business on Windows, and advancing mobile productivity solutions such as Microsoft OneNote and Microsoft To Do. Previously, Ms. Ranganathan spent three years at Expedia Group, contributing to the development of Expedia.com, Expedia.ca, and private-label products.
