In this role, he oversees all aspects of engineering, data ecosystem, artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and technology operations. Mr. Thumu brings over 20 years of experience leading transformative tech initiatives at highly innovative companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Fanatics Commerce, where he played a pivotal role in the creation of Fanatics’ Cloud Commerce Platform. He was also instrumental in developing the data and machine learning (ML) capabilities to scale their global business. Before Fanatics, Mr. Thumu spent a decade at eBay, where he led critical initiatives across data, advertising, quantitative marketing, fraud, and personalization.
